THE AUGMENTED MUSEUM

2019

LIVERPOOL

Exploring the relationship between the virtual world blending with physical architecture.

Further Projects: Image

This project was to create a museum that involves AR VR and similar technologies. This brief explores the relationship between the virtual world blending with physical architecture and reflects how our experience of a spatial form. Also how it is affected when the form is filled in with dynamic and rich multimedia information.

The museum is a concept for the docks of Liverpool. We were required to pick a theme and create a narrative that can be lived and explored through our augmented museum. The design should emerge from explorative virtual models and sectional perspectives including digital projections that inform the design process.

TAILOR SHOP

2017- 2018
(lincoln)

This project involved a real client who wanted to move to new commercial premises within Lincoln, for several reasons. The site was located next to the railway that runs directly through Lincoln, so this posed a number of restrictions.

I saw the limitations of the site as an interesting problem-solving exercise. Designing on a tight site with train tracks on one side and a client that had very specific requirements made me look at the design process in a totally different way.

ILLUSTRATION WORK

This illustration work was part of a series of advertisments with an aim to help increase tourism.
Using my own style I used city landmarks as the distinctive features. Bold colour schemes were used to juxtapose  what can often be perceived as a dark urban environment.
